A Gift of Words

The Gift of Hope

Hope springs eternal. Without hope there is no life. Since the beginning of time, life has sprung from a single molecule, to the sophistication of life present on earth. Yup, it took billions of years, but life has time to evolve from hope and continues to do so.

Hopes are urges that are cravings, cravings for a better life, cravings for things to happen like meeting our soulmates, cravings for safety, cravings for freedom, cravings for independence and more.

We, however, don’t have the luxury of time, and so we have to speed along the process of hope, so that we can fulfill our dreams. When we donate, we give the gift of hope to many people, they, knowing through our donations that someone cares; will continue the struggle of finding a better life for them and their families.

Hoping…Passing the hope around it is contagious….

The Salvation Army has been giving hope for over 60 years by donating resources and time, teaching people how to fish, so they can sustain themselves.

Selflessness springs hope. Selfishness retreats hope.

It’s not the one with the most toys that win; it’s the person that has given gifts of hope, through selfless efforts that are fulfilled and content, by giving the gift of hope along the way.

Contentment is gained once hope has been satiated. Hope is not found on shelves at the store, you don’t go shopping for it, and you must follow the signals hope puts out for you when someone most needs it.

Walk towards the signals that hope provides.

If in the distance there is a gleam of hope, walk forward.

If someone holds out their hand, fill up that hand with hope.

Hope can get stronger if it is walked together with support from someone less in need of hope. It can be a numbers game.

The situation is only hopeless if we do nothing. Doing something fuels hope, which fuels desire, which fuels reaching and fulfilling the hope dream.

I am hopelessly in love with life! Are you?
