A Gift of Words

Gift of Innocence

We are born with it.

We were innocent.

Like the beginning of time, our history begins when we are born. Depending on life circumstances, in the beginning, we are molded into who we are today based on other people’s actions around us, which we draw upon and forge our paths and along the way, slowly losing all innocence.

We are taught what we know through our visual surroundings, and input of dialog, negative or positive. It does not mean we become what we experience, we have the power to assimilate.

As born, we have been given the tools of reasoning, compassion, and tolerance among the many unique attributes of being human.

We, and only we can decide how, in the future we want to be perceived by others. It is not for us to judge, but we do. It is not for us to hurt, but we do. It is upon us to react in positive ways to help protect the innocent.

We were innocent. Our earth was innocent. God's gift to us are the born innocents. Once removed innocence can never be retrieved.
