A Gift of Words

Gift of Authenticity

How authentic are we in our lives?

It is one of many virtues… moral excellence comes to mind.

Show your personality, be yourself, make mistakes and admit them.

We all have an inner voice that we often listen to. That voice is biased quite often. That’s the third conversation in a one-on-one debate! It gets in the way in that we blurt out what that voice is telling us.

Oops… did I just say that…

Harsh or loud tones while talking help mask authenticity. We wanna be heard. We are actually doing ourselves a disservice with this type of conversation. It comes across as insincere even if it isn’t.

A wise person once said:” Don’t be afraid to be yourself.”

Use your vulnerabilities as a strength. Don’t fight failure, embrace it. Turn failure into positiveness. Authenticity is critical in creating real connections.

I am my own worst enemy. Being authentic lifts part of the mask we all wear in public.

No hidden agendas for me. What you see is what you get.
